For the final place on my trip around Europe I decided to go to Spain. Spain has many cities to go to and places to visit. When i arrived in Madrid i discovered it was more of a museum city. I didn't really feel like looking at a bunch of paintings so i went to Barcelona. In Barcelona they have much more to see besides museums. The first place i went to was Montjuic where the olympic stadium and the Montjuic castle is. I looked around the stadium and decided it was like the colosseum which is what i think all stadiums are modeled after. I could be wrong but they look the same, oval, stands for people, and a game set up in the middle. After i saw the stadium i went to see the Montjuic castle which is made of brick. There's not much you can say to describe a castle they mostly look the same, towers, a lot of rooms, guards. Though the castles i have seen all have the same basic design it interesting to see how they're different. Like the Buckingham Palace is more fancy then the Montjuic castle but, the Palace of Versailles has gold ornaments all along the roof. So far i've liked the Palace of Versailles the best. After that I went to the Picasso museum, which mainly has paintings from when he was younger. Im not sure what he was thinking when he painted people, maybe he knew people that looked like that but when i look around i don't see people with their eyes on the same side of their face. Finally it was time to go back to america, i learned more then i thought i should on a trip, but it was fun.
